Vocabulary-

Coefficients - Number in front of a chemical symbol or chemical formula to signify how many of that element exist in the system


Reactants - The chemicals at the beginning of the reaction, on the left of the yield sign (the arrow)

Superscript - A number or letter high up. In chemistry used to denote charge

Subscript - A number low down following a chemical symbol, element, or polyatomic to represent how many of that chemical (exist in the system)

Synthesis Reaction - Where more than one chemicals make one chemical (Na + Cl = NaCl)


Decomposition Reaction - Where one chemical breaks down to different chemicals

Single Replacement Reaction -
